cute card challenge 53 family affair

post # 2 from me today, this is the second attempt on this card. i had just put it all together and the dog got hold of it, she likes flowers!!!!! the theme this week on cute card thursday is family so i have made this card for my niece. the stamp is from sugar nellie and she is called daisy, everything is from my stash. i should get another card done tonight both hubby and son are off out... peace whoo x

papertake weekly challenge (dawny's sketch #11) & colour create challenge week 8

well the weather has taken a turn for the worse so it is a good excuse to stay in and do some crafting. i started this card yesterday but kept getting interupted so it has taken longer than i thought so i am being really cheeky and putting it on two challenges!! this weeks papertake weekly challenge is a sketch by dawny and the colour create challenge is navy, turquoise and lime. the stamp is a cuddly buddly called kyle cooks, i wanted to be able to see the pretty circle paper so i cut him out. the sentiment is printed from my computer and i just wrote over it with my navy sakura gel pen.i will be back soon thanks for dropping in. x

mojo monday week 79

my final card for today and i really liked making this one. it is from the mojo monday challenge, the sketch is really great and i am pleased with how this card has turned out. the stamp is a penny black called surprise, which i bought from sir stampalot the paper is called enjoy life/happy thoughts made by my little shoe box and i bought it from stamp addicts. i hope you have all had a lovely day and i will see you very soon x

house mouse challenge # 30

this weeks house mouse challenge is to make a shaped card so i have made a little gift card for my friends new grandaughter. it is just a cute little mouse stamp called yawning and i really like the pretty pink paper , once again my nesties came in handy. x

penny black week 41/doodling

good morning to you all hope you are all fit and well. i am off work this week doctor has told me to stay home (don't need telling twice). also my kids don't get my blogging addiction and have bet me that i won't get 100 followers.. they are going to get me a cricut if i can soooooo if you want to help out this under pressure mum and nan i would be very grateful.. now to todays first post this weeks challenge for penny black is doodling, and i had a bit of a mare so i ended up cutting the image out. ( thats what happens when your tired and it's late at night). i used my new nestie as well so i hope you like him. x

friday sketchers # 44

the sun has been shining today and doesn't it make you feel so much better.. i like it when the weather is warmer i am not too keen on the colder months.(love christmas though). this card is based on the challenge set on friday sketchers and the stamp is candyfloss and marshmallow from the daisy and dandelion range. x

truly scrumptious challenge 3

another post from me today, i think i went a bit mad with the glitter glue!!!!! although you can't really see it on the picture.this is the card i have put on the truly scrumptious challenge for this week, this weeks theme was to make a card from the sketch. once again i have used a magnolia stamp from sir stampalot this time though i have used edwin, and the stamp is called charming edwin with bouquet of roses. i have a real soft spot for these stamps (you probably think i say that about all of my stamps!!!) they are so cute.

i found some fun flock hidden away in a cupboard so i thought i would use it on the teddy and the baby's nappy just to give them a bit of dimension. the stamp is from high hopes called barely sitting. the card is based on this weeks sketch saturday challenge. i love baby cards and this baby is a real cutie. x

mojo monday week 78

my weekend started so well!!!!!!i was on the winning team at the school's quiz night, i won £28.00 in the raffle, making me think i would have a good weekend... how wrong can you be???? what happened to spoil it....... Manchester united lose!!!!! i aint happy..

so to make me feel better i made some cards.. this card is the one i have made to go on this weeks mojo monday challenge. i am not sure the make of the stamp but a bit of retail therapy never hurt anyone and she looks like she has started as she means to go on.... x

this weeks cupcake craft challenge's theme is brown +1 and the choices are pink, blue or green. guess which one i picked ????? i hope i haven't over done it but i am quite pleased with it. the stamp is a sugar nellie and is a leanne ellis design called talking to the birds and i think she is pretty cute. thanks for dropping in x

after all the excitement of yesterday i have certainly come down with a bang today.... school was very stressful and i am so tired but i managed to do some cards. this card is going to go to another of my 21sts and i have entered it on the penny black challenge. this weeks challenge is a sketch and i had fun using my nesties and the stamp is a t for transparent. x

i had a real surprise today; i won the the sketch and stash challenge for last week and to say i am happy is an understatement!!!! whooooooooo.

my card for today is for the colour create challenge and the theme for this week is red and green. i have been asked over the last few weeks to make more 'men' cards and not cute!!?? i have had this stamp for a while and it is from sir stampalot i have coloured it with my old faithfuls the wonderful h20's and sekura gel pens. it really has been a good day.... x

yet another card from me today this one is a bit different for me, the colours are very dark and the stamp is not quite ME ! but i thought it would be ok for a mans card. the sketch is the challenge over on sketch saturday. i am really not sure about this one i do like the sketch but i prefer more pastel colouring and cute stamps. let me know what you think!!

another card from me today, it was good yesterday to sit and make some cards just what i needed after the performance my football team put me through!!!! i really enjoyed this sketch and once again had the chance to use one of my favourite stamps. the sketch is the challenge on cute card thursday. i also like the colour scheme i have chosen, pretty but fresh. the stamp is a sugar nellie from funky kits but i cannot remember her name. x

friday sketchers # 43

i have made this card for my friend to give to her mum, she asked for these colours and because i love this combination i willingly obliged. i wanted to use my cuttlebug embossing folder and i am really pleased with how it has turned out. i had to colour the blue flowers myself, because as i tell my husband when he sees my new goodies " i never have the right stuff "!!!!!! (any excuse to buy more.) the sketch is this weeks challenge on friday sketchers #43. i hope you are having a great weekend. x

week 6 colour create ( orange, yellow, green)

how this card ever got made i really don't know!!! i have been watching the Manchester united game in the champions league and i must say i was very nervous. thankfully we won so i was able to finish the card!!!! this card is for the colour create challenge and the theme was orange, yellow and green. the stamp is from stamp addicts and it is a lovely stamp to use. hope you are all as happy as i am keep crafting. x (football and crafting such fun)

i think that this weeks sketch for the magnolia vs stampavie challenge is a really lovely one, and i really enjoyed creating this card. i am so glad that i have invested in some nestabilities they make shape cutting so much easier. the tilda stamp has once again stamped and coloured beautifully. thanks for dropping by. x

another card from me today, this time i am in time for a challenge!! it is the sketch and stash challenge and the new stamp i have used is another from

sugar nellie she is called reflective, i think all the stamps in this range are gorgeous and am gradually getting them all (just don't tell the hubby!) the paper and card i have had for a while and can't remember where they came from. well another weekend over and back to work tomorrow, have a good week and i will see you here very soon. x

i had a senior moment!!!!!

i was doing so well yesterday, then it all went pear shaped! my 2 eldest grandchildren stayed friday night and were meant to go home yesterday afternoon but they asked to stay another night and i couldn't say NO. then i got a call asking me to make a mothers day card for my friend's mum as she had to give it to her before she went on hol. so before you wonder what the heck i am on about ...... i made this card last week to post onto the colour create challenge but i forgot and its too late now, but i am posting it any way cos i love it! the stamp is from sugar nellie and is part of their home grown range the bunny is called pringle. blue and brown colours are so me and work so well together. thanks for putting up with my ramblings. x
