sketch saturday # 55 and allsorts # 5 (triangles)

yet another really busy day and another late night!!!!! still i managed to get 2 cards done and as fathers day is on sunday i am pleased that i have managed to get them both made. the first card i have combined with 2 challenges, the first being for sketch saturday and the other is allsorts which this week is triangles. the stamp is a house mouse and the papers are from my ever growing collection, ( i can't resist paper). i will be back in a mo with card # 2. x

stamp something sketch challenge

i am really pleased i have managed to make 2 cards today, this one is for one of the boys at school who i have worked with since yr 7 and i have been his scribe for his gcse's. he wants to go onto college to train as a chef so i thought this would be just right. the sketch is for the the challenge set this week on stamp something blog. the stamp is a cuddly buddly called 'kyle cooks' and the rest is from my stash.

blimey where did that week go? i have been so busy i just haven't got any crafting done and the week ahead doesn't look that great either. i have so many cards to get done though i really must find some time. the first card today is for 2 challenges, the first is for the colour create challenge and the other is friday sketchers. i enjoyed using the colour scheme and the sketch. the stamp is a sugar nellie called 'fingers crossed' the butterflies are magnolia's, everything else is from my stash. i hope you have enjoyed the sunshine this weekend x

stampavie and more challenge # 46 and colour createweek 18

hi everyone i hope you are all feeling fit and healthy. i have been examed out again and really can't wait for the 6 weeks hols and just not having to get up and get out by 7.30 will be great. there is a lot going on at school before the break so it is busy all round, makes the weeks go quicker though!!!!!! this card i have combined for 2 challenges, the first is the sketch which has been set for the stampavie and more challenge and it is very versatile and i enjoyed using it a lot, the 2nd is the challenge on colour create which is the colours of the rainbow, and i have tried to use all the colours and the song has been buzzing around in my head all day!!! i have used a sugar nellie stamp called 'postbox'. i have put a piece of blue card through my big shot in a cuttlebug embossing folder, shrunk the postage stamp sentiment and used paper and flowers from my stash of goodies. have a good week and thanks for stooping by x

i have quite a few cards to make for a friend and then i have the rest of the wedding order to complete so i had better get busy this week!!!!! no housework will get done and the boys will be eating quick meals!!! card number 2 is for the challenge on papertake weekly a sketch by dawny. the stamp is one i have had for a while but never used and the papers are from basic grey. i just want to say sorry for not getting round your blogs for a while just haven't had any time but i will try this week to be a better buddie.....

where has the weekend gone???? i have not been near my craft stuff until about 10 mins ago, we have had george and sophie and friday i was unwell so nothing has been made and tomorrow i am back to work. fortunately i had made these 2 cards thursday. the first is for the challenge on spoonfull of sugar which this week is a sketch. the stamp is a jaonna sheen messy rabbit and the papers and buttons are from my stash. i have lots to get done this week, so i had better get on. hope you had a lovely weekend x

creative inspirations challenge # 10 ( brown and blue)

my poor kids had their french exam today and blimey was it hard!!!!!! if they say that gcse's have got easier this year they are very, very wrong, lets hope that they all did well. i love and hate this time of year at school all the yr 11's that i have been with since they came up to senior school leave and i really miss them. most keep in touch though so i will know what they are getting up to. (not always a good thing). my first card tonight (and it might be my only one) is for the challenge on the creative inspirations blog and the theme this week is brown and blue, i really like this colour combo. the stamp is from sugar nellie and she is called 'pen pal', the papers are from basic grey, the flowers, and ribbon are from my stash. the ticket stamp is from an autumn leaves set called 'ticketed' from the hobby house. i hope the weather brightens up i would love another bbq this weekend. x

crafts 4 eternity # 34 & cupcake craft challenge # 42

i hope you are all well and enjoying the weather, shame i am at work i could sit in the garden all day and craft!!!!! my first card today is another combined challenge the first is for crafts 4 eternity (sketch + lilac and purple) and the cupcake craft challenge (fairies). the stamp is from charmed delectables called 'angel annie' ( i know she is an angel but i am sure i can get away with her she is so cute) the paper is from craft creations. i had better go and do the boys their dinner as they will both be home from work soon. secret crafter challenge # 34 (pink, turquoise & a hint of brown) penny black week 51 ( a sketch) & allsorts challenge week 3 (curly swirly)

i am combining this card with 3 challenges. the first is the colour scheme set on the secret crafter(pink, turquoise and hint of brown)penny black(sketch) and allsorts challenge(curly swirly). the stamp is from a t for transparent set called 'critter party' from the glitter pot, i think the paper is very pretty and has just the right shades for the colour scheme, the flowers and ribbon are from my stash. i stamped the sentiment onto shrink plastic and it has shrunk brilliantly. ( my success rate with shrink is hit and miss!!!!!) i love this card hope you do too. thanks for dropping by x

unscripted sketches # 08

what a lovely cay it's just a shame i had to go to school. the kids were really agitated as they wanted to be out in the lovely sunshine plus the classrooms all have big glass windows and it is just too hot in them! i have two cards tonight the first is for this weeks sketch on unscripted sketches and the theme i have chosen fits in nicely with the weather. the flipflop paper and stamp are from imaginisce once again i have used the whitewash cardstock which i am loving, not sure where i got the bag from i found it amongst some bits that were forgotten about. x

just magnolia week # 7 animal or insect

a quick and simple card for this challenge on just magnolia which this week has to feature an animal or an insect. the boy stamp is called 'edwin on pencil' and the dog is called 'edwins dog' from sir stampalot, but i cut off the pencil as i wanted him sitting on the steps. not sure where the alphabet paper is from it has been in my box of 'stuff' for ages. i do hope the bbq is ready soon i am starving made a decision today that i am going back to 'fat club' summer bits just a tad tooooooo tight!!!! happy days good job i like a salad. enjoy x

sketch saturday # 53

good morning to you all on this fab day, hubby's got the bbq at the ready and we are having elle and bailey over so a lovely day to be had by (not much crafting will get done tho!!!) woke up early again (lily's gone back to bed now) so i got stuck in on this card. this week the sketch saturday crew are celebrating their first birthday so congrats to them. the image is from sir stampalot called 'cook's mannequin' and it fits in with the papers from K & Co' cut n paste range, and both have that lovely heart warming feel of the '50's about them. i got the paper from charmed cards & carfts the card stock is whitewash from core'dinations and i am really loving them. have a great sunday i so don't want to go back to school tomorrow, round 2 of gcse's. thanks for popping by xx

friday sketchers # 54

this is probably my only post today i am going to babysit george and sophie in a little while so i thought i would get this posted before i go. the card is for this weeks challenge on the friday sketchers and i have struggled with this one, although i am quite pleased with it. the stamp is from a penny black t for transparent set called 'critter party' from the glitter pot the paper and embellishments are from the amy butler lotus faded china paper collection from k & co at charmed cards & craft, hope your saturday has been a lovely one x

stampavie and more challenge # 45 (yellow & black)

blimey i have done well today mind you not much else has got done!!!! i am pleased though as i have caught up with all of the challenges that i wanted to do. this one is for the stampavie and more challenge and this week is a colour scheme of yellow and black. i am trying to get a collection of boys cards done as i prefer cute and girly. this stamp is called 'yo-yo' from elzybells art stamps the papers are from my stash and the yellow i embossed with one of my cuttlebug folders. i think i might just call it a day now. see you tomorrow x

cup cake craft challenge # 41 ('2') a spoonful of sugar # 53 (lace) sketch and stash challenge # 11(part two!!!!)

i have a few weddings coming up so i thought i would get a head start. one of the colour schemes is ivory and brown so this is the card i have made for that one. the card is for the cupcake craft challenge which this week has to have 2 colours,(brown and ivory) 2 shapes(circles and oblong card stock) and 2 pieces of ribbon(brown and ivory) to celebrate erin's daughters 2nd birthday. it also fits with the challenge on a spoonfull of sugar which has to feature lace. the layout is also for the sketch on sketch and stash , i know i have already made a card for this but i got carried away!!!!! the stamp is a magnolia from sir stampalot called 'love cake' and it is new,the adhesive stones i had forgotten about and the flowers and paper i have had for ages. phew i think that is all for this one. takes longer to post than it does to make the card!!!!!!!!lol x

sketch and stash # 11

i have had fun today i have managed to get a few things done and have a play with my new toy. this card is for the sketch and stash challenge and i made it with my grandson george's 4th birthday in mind. the stamp is a new one that i got from elzybells art stamps and he is called 'george' the papers are from basic grey, the name and number 4 are cut from cricut which i have used for the first time and i am so pleased with it, my neglected stash are the brads i forgot i had them. everything else is from my goodies. i hope you are having a great day and lets hope the weather stays nice for the weekend, bbq?????? i hope so. thanks for popping in x

sunday sketch and stamp # 3 & colour create wk 17 (lemon, pink sorbet and chocolate)

another card that i have combined on two challenges, the first challeng is the sunday sketch and stamp for the sketch which has been set by sem and the other is for colour create which this week has the fab colour scheme of lemon, pink sorbet and chocolate. i have used the stamp from stamp addicts called 'annabel' the paper is from basic grey and to add a bit of sparkle i have put pale lemon gems in the centre of some of the flowers. oh well back to the crafting i am going to try out my new cricut machine today so watch this space (fingers crossed )

crafts 4 eternity # 33 & creative inspirations # 9

i am going to craft all day today.......( i hope!!!!) i managed to get this card finished last night after a day of interuptions. this card is for 2 challenges the first is crafts 4 eternity which is the sketch, and the other is the fortnightly challenge on creative inspirations whose theme is favourite stamp. the stamp is a charmed delectable called 'annie sitting pretty' and she is a real gem and so cute, and you can buy them at charmed cards and crafts the paper is from basic grey and i also used the new whitewash range of card from core'dinations from artbase and it is great because you can emboss, sand or distress it and the darker background colour comes through. thanks for dropping by x

penny black week 50 buttons galore

i have not had a very good day!!!! my daughter rang early this morning because sophie has been unwell with a very sore mouth. we thought she was just teething but her gums had swollen up and she had big ulcers too. kieley had made an appt at the dentist and asked if i could go with her. sophie has a really bad viral infection and bless her heart she is a poorly girl. lets hope the medicine soon kicks in, and she is back to her adorable little self. then to top off a miserable day man utd lost. so i made a card no better cure to make you feel better. the card is for the penny black challenge which this week is buttons galore. the stamp is called gift wrap and i have used the buttons as balloons coming out of the parcel. off to bed now nighty night x

friday sketchers # 53

i can't believe i am still awake after only getting 4 hours sleep on sunday night, he better not start snoring tonight or i just might be blogging from a prison cell!!!!!!! lol. well at least i got a few cards made. this one is for the friday sketchers and this week has been set by heidi. the stamps are all magnolia's from sir stampalot except for tilda who was given to me by heidi as a prize a couple of weeks ago. she is called valentine tilda and i think she is for always not just for valentine. (i am tired now i am babbleing!)the papers are basic grey and the hearts i have had for ages. thats me for now, going to brighton later with some friends have a lovely day x
