i put this card on earlier but wasn't happy with the picture so i tried to edit it and i lost the whole thing so here it is again!!!!! the layout is the sketch over on the sugar bowl challenge and the stamp is from sugar nellie called karate luca the papers and star are from my goodies. i am such a plonker there must be an easier way of editing pictures!!!!!
another card and this time it is the layout of the sketch set on the sketch saturday challenge blog, i love this stamp and it is the first time i have used it and i am really pleased with how it has turned out, it is a new rachelle anne miller stamp called birthday monkeys from charmed cards & craft eveything else from my goodies.i also used blue velum which i ran through my big shot and embossed it with a cuttlebug swiss dots folder. i hope you are enjoying the weekend thanks for dropping in x
another of 2 cards i have made today, i seem to be all systems go today. i am making the most of it as the next couple of days are busy, busy!! this card's layout is the sketch set on friday sketchers. the stamp called puppy from stamp addicts, the paper is from lili of the valley, i used my h20's and sakura pens to colour the image in and i put diamond glaze on the bone, inside of the kennel and the pups nose. on the sketsh there are 3 embellishment on the right hand side, i have coloure and diamond glazed 3 of the paw prints in the paper.
the first card from me today and this is the challenge over on cute card thursday and the theme for this week is marshmallows and chocolate, the chocolate i have used is a mixture of light and dark.yummmmm. the stamp is a cuddly buddly called emmy with basket. today was meant to taken up by decorating my hall but it never got going!!!! i went to b & q and got the brushes and rollers but didn't feel like doing it when i got home. i am going to crack on with more cards while i can x
wow this card has been a marathon and i am still not 100% happy with it! its been a bit of a odd day today lots happening but nothing really getting done! the challenge this week on magnolia vs stampavie is a sketch for you by michelle and i really love the sketch but i have struggled with the swirly bit on the side, hence the bead flowers, ( i can't believe that amongst all my stuff i couldn't find what i really wanted!!!) the stamp is a tilda that i have had for a while she is called tilda with broom and i got her from sir stampalot, the paper, card, ribbon and bead flowers are from my stash. the card is purple even though it looks black! i hope you have had a better day than me, thanks for dropping in x karen x
i haven't been able to get much done today, i looked after sophie for a few hours and then i went to my daughters to have my nails done so i really didn't get home until 8.00pm. this card is going to be for 2 challenges , the colour create challenge which this week is duck egg blue and rose, (these colours are so pretty together) and the secret crafter challenge which is stripes. i have used a tilda stamp from sir stampalot called swinging tilda and the swing. the papers are from my goodies. i put diamond glaze on her boots and she is coloured in with h20's. x
what a lovely day, the sun has been shining a bit windy but all in all a good day. i went to barleylands with my daughter, george and sophie and miracle of miracles i didn't buy any craft goodies!!!!! i ordered sophie a wall plaque though so not a complete craftless day.. lol. tonights card is for the challenge on this weeks sketch saturday, the stamp is a penny black 't for transparent' called critter party from the glitter pot, the paper is basic grey, i also used some vellum whisc i embossed with a cuttlebug embossing border,the leaves i used a punch and the rest is from my stash(which is gradually taking over the house!!)
another post from me tonight, this card is based on the sketch set by friday sketchers , i have been having a sort out today and i found some images that i stamped a while ago so i thought it was about time i used them. the stamp is from stamp addicts and is called spike, i don't know if it is still available because i have had it quite a while. the paper is from my goodies as is the handbag charm. i might call it a night now i feel really tired and i am taking my daughter and her 2 angels to the farm tomorrow, i am such a good nanny!!!! night night x
my first day of the holidays and i thought i would get loads of cards done but i got side tracked! this is the first card i have been able to get to finish tonight, i seem to have quite a few weddings to go to this summer so i thought i would get started. this one is based on the sketch set on the sketch and stash challenge . the paper is my new stash which i got from craft creations the stamp i have had for ages and i don't know who it is made by, all the rest is from my craft goodies. x
another card from me today and i thought i would give my new nesties an outing. (i am gradually getting the whole set). the theme for this weeks cute card thursday is citrus colours and this daisy paper is so pretty i thought a smaller embellishment would be ideal and this little stamp from stamp addicts is perfect. the stamp is called here i am and is made by printworks. thanks for dropping by x
how this card got made this afternoon i do not know!!!! i was watching the manchester united game on tv and not really concentrating on my card. but hey it is in one piece and to top it all we won whooooooo. the challenge on truly scrumptious is a sketch and you could add flowers if you wanted so i did.i am also posting this card on the stamp something challenge which this week had to have the word happy on it.the sentiment happy everything says it all and the ovals and the little bunny peeking out really does make you think of easter. the image is a sugar nellie stamp and is called peek a bunny. enjoy the weather its is glorious just like the football!!!! x
a few weeks ago one of our geography teachers wife had a baby girl, and i was asked today to make a card for her. he and his wife have great taste in names because they have called her sophie and my youngest grandaughter is called sophie.!!i didn't want to do a new baby card so i have put her name on the card instead of baby girl. the layout is taken from this weeks sketch on cutie sunday. the stamp is a forever friends, everything else i have had for ages. i have another full day tomorrow with exams and then i am baby sitting george and sophie so i probably won't get anything done tomorrow. roll on friday and let the holidays begin x
i thought this challenge would be easy, how wrong can you be??!! this weeks challenge on the colour create blog is anything in lilac and blue, with the addition of ribbon and swirls. when i saw it i thought i can do that no probs, well i had to eat my words i have loads of papers but could i find ones that i am 100% happy with..... NO. my husband insists this card is fine but i am still not sure, the stamp is a cuddly buddly, and is very cute. x
i went back to work today and it is so busy, the exam season is once again upon us so its all hands on deck. by the time we break up in july i will have sat around 40 exams!!!! so i haven't had much time to craft this evening, but i did manage to get this one finished. the challenge on the crafts 4 eternity blog is a sketch with the added extra of using yellow and green. the dress stamp is from stamp addicts and the rest is from my stash. see you tomorrow. x
today has been a really busy one, all 4 grandchildren have been here so it has been all go go go!!!! so to unwind after they had all gone i started making cards!! (beats ironing any day). this card is for the challenge set on the secret crafter blog and this week it was anything with stitching. the patchwork paper was a great find because it already had the stitching on it, and it has been sitting in a box for ages!!!the stamp is a sugar nellie from their homegrown range called fishbowl. i am back at work tomorrow, but only for a week then 2 weeks off to craft whoooo x
another card from me today and this time it is the challenge sketch set on the sketch saturday blog. one of my friends is due to give birth to twin boys so i thought i would get a card ready for the much awaited arrival. i have had this stamp for ages and had completely forgotten about it but i do think it is a cutie. x
hi everyone i hope you are having a good saturday, rotten weather though so it's been a good excuse to stay in and make cards. this is my version of the sketch for this weeks challenge on stamp something. both the bear(griz) and the fishing hat are from stamp addicts and the fishing rod i bought at ally pally last year from rubberneckers everything else is from my ever increasing stash!!!! (not long now til this years ally pally whooo)x
this is my last post for today, i am going to get an early night. (i don't usually get to bed much before 1 am most nights)! i recieved my gorjuss girl stamps this morning so i just had to use one of them, she is quite simply called sitting and she is from funky kits. the layout of the card is my take on the friday sketchers challenge. i enjoyed putting this one together, i also used a cuttlebug embossing folder for the sentiment. i think this gorjuss girl turned out just fine.. night night x
post # 2 from me today, this is the second attempt on this card. i had just put it all together and the dog got hold of it, she likes flowers!!!!! the theme this week on cute card thursday is family so i have made this card for my niece. the stamp is from sugar nellie and she is called daisy, everything is from my stash. i should get another card done tonight both hubby and son are off out... peace whoo x
well the weather has taken a turn for the worse so it is a good excuse to stay in and do some crafting. i started this card yesterday but kept getting interupted so it has taken longer than i thought so i am being really cheeky and putting it on two challenges!! this weeks papertake weekly challenge is a sketch by dawny and the colour create challenge is navy, turquoise and lime. the stamp is a cuddly buddly called kyle cooks, i wanted to be able to see the pretty circle paper so i cut him out. the sentiment is printed from my computer and i just wrote over it with my navy sakura gel pen.i will be back soon thanks for dropping in. x
