just magnolia week 15

what a rotten day weather wise!!!! i do hope it improves a week in a caravan with 2 young children is not much fun when it rains. got til the 15th so fingers crossed.

this card is for the challenge on just magnolia which is a sketch by tab. the stamps are both from sir stampalot, the tilda is called 'tilda with lace skirt' and i have used the 'watercan'. the papers are from my stash and i have used a martha stewart punch and a cuttlebug embossing folder on the border. bye for now x

truly scrumptious # 12

on a bit of a roll tonight, i am pleased to have finished another card. this is for the challenge on truly scrumptious which is the sketch. i have used one of the new gorjuss girl stamps from funky kits she is called 'poppy fields', the papers are from basic grey. i have cut her out using one of my nesties.i am sorry that the image hasn't photographed well the colour of her dress is much darker. thanks for dropping by, night night x

my time to craft # 70

another card bites the dust!!!! my daughter rang to ask for a card for one of george's little friends so i thought i had better get busy. the layout is for the challenge on my time to craft which this week is the sketch by becky. the apace boy is from pink gem called 'space jack'. the rocket paper was hidden at the bottom of my "green paper" box and the planet and space ship are from dimension fourth. x

a really big hello to you all. the last few weeks have really been stressful, the death of phil's dad has hit us all very badly. the funeral is on friday which will be over 2 weeks since it happened there have been some complications with the cause of death but we have the go-ahead now so after this week hopefully we can get back to some sort of normality!! i am sorry if i haven't visited your blogs, my list of followers has dissapeared but i will try to catch up with you all asap. this card is for a friend who reaches the big 60 this week and i have used the sketch set on the sketch and stash challenge the new stash is the forever friends stamp called 'champagne celebration' along with the papers, the old stash are the flowers and the h20's. this weeks challenge on the craft challenge is pink and green and i am really pleased with the result. thanks for popping in i appreciate it so much. x

colour create week 23(blue and white), stamp something & penny black(soft and sweet)

good evening every one i hope you are all ok. i have been to old macdonalds farm today with kieley, george and sophie we had a lovely time and the weather was good to us too.

this weeks challenge on colour create is blue and white and as a friend had a baby boy last week i thought this card would do the job. i have followed the sketch on stamp something plus the theme on penny black is 'soft and sweet' and a new baby is just that! the stamp is from the glitter pot and is called 'baby hammock' the papers i have had for ages in my odds and sods box. x

this card is for the challenge set on the sugar bowl which is a sketch and to use ribbon and bows. the stamp is from sugar nellie and she is called 'painting rainbows' the paper is from the blueberry hill range by papermania. everything else is from my stash of goodies. thanks for dropping by x

hi ladies, just a short note from me today, i probably won't be around much for the next weeek or so as my father in law passed away yesterday. this was a complete shock as he had made great improvements and was due to come home. x

the sugar bowl challenge 14

good morning to you all i hope you are having a great weekend. i am just now recovering from the take that concert which by the way was amazing. the circus that was going on during the show was awesome and of course the boys were superb ( missed robbie though). i did manage to camo down to earth yesterday to make this card which is for the sugar bowl challenge which this week is the sketch. the stamp is a charmed delectable and she is sitting on their tree stump.the papers are from my minds eye and are their wild asparagus range. everything else is from my stash.i added the sparkle opyion by putting stickles on the flower embellishment. thanks for dropping by x

good evening to you all, i hope the weather isn't getting to you like it is the kids at school. they get progressively worse as the day goes on i can't say i blame them i would rather be out in the sun than stuck in a stuffy class room!!!!! i seem to be on a "go slow" at the mo, can't seem to stay focused for too long. i am sorry for not visiting your blogs but next week i have no husband for a week he is staying with his mum as his dad is going into hosp for major surgery so i should get around to you all then! x this card is for 2 challenges the first is just magnolia (sketch) and the second is for stamp something (embellishments). i love the new tilda pet collection and have just recieved my first batch. the stamps are from craftsulove tilda with kitten and cat the papers are from a collection from dcwv called nana's nursery (girl) the sentiment is printed on my comp and the embellies are from my stash......oh i really need to tell you that i am going to see Take That with my daughter on friday, (we used to travel everywhere the first time round). i am like a teenager again i am so excited, my son keeps telling me to "get a grip mother you are 50"........... spoilsport!!!! will tell you all about it saturday. x

i can't believe i have made 2 cards tonight having a break might have done me good, really am itching to do so many projects. this card is for my friends son who reaches the age of 16 in august. boys cards are quite difficult especialy teenagers, but this rapping bear is perfect. the sketch is this weeks challenge on sketch saturday. i hope you are all enjoying the weather, only problem is hay fever and having to work!!!!! x

hello lovely blogging buddies, it is so good to be back. i didn't think i would ever get the wedding stuff finished but thank goodness it is all done and with the bride and groom. i had a lovely surprise from a buddie she had left an award for me on her blog and i am delighted with it. i will pass it an tomorrow as i need to get posting!! my first card is for this weeks challenge on friday sketchers, i seem to have another batch of boys birthdays coming up and i enjoyed using this sketch. the papers are basic grey and the image is one from a good friend. thanks for dropping by x

hi ladies don't think there will be any cards from me this week, i am really panicking as i have to have the wedding order ready for saturday and i am not feeling too great! the weekend was fab and the party went really well but now i am a poorly lady. any way i hope you are all enjoying the sun ahd have a great week. hope to be back soon. x

my time to craft challenge # 65 and penny black birthday celebration

i am a bit earlier posting today thank goodness i have had a bit more time to get some crafting done. i have a very busy few days though, so this might be it until after the weekend. i have parents evening tomorrow, friday i have to decorate the hall for my son jacob's 21st party on saturday, plus it is george's 4th birthday saturday so we have to see him........ busy busy busy. i have combined 2 challengesfor this card the first is the sketch on my time to craft and the other is for the birthday celebrations at penny black. the stamps are a t for transparent called 'dino party', the rest is from my stash. have a great few days see you soon x

crafts 4 eternity # 36

card # 2 is for the challenge on crafts 4 eternity the stamps are from a set called 'sushi bowl' ( i think but i can't remember who makes them!!) i stamped the bowl onto the blue bubble paper, then stamped and cut the fish etc. i then decided i wanted to make it look like glass so i used a double sided sticky sheet and added acitate which again i stamped the bowl onto.phew i hope that makes sense!! off to bed now night night x

sketch saturday # 55 and allsorts # 5 (triangles)

yet another really busy day and another late night!!!!! still i managed to get 2 cards done and as fathers day is on sunday i am pleased that i have managed to get them both made. the first card i have combined with 2 challenges, the first being for sketch saturday and the other is allsorts which this week is triangles. the stamp is a house mouse and the papers are from my ever growing collection, ( i can't resist paper). i will be back in a mo with card # 2. x

stamp something sketch challenge

i am really pleased i have managed to make 2 cards today, this one is for one of the boys at school who i have worked with since yr 7 and i have been his scribe for his gcse's. he wants to go onto college to train as a chef so i thought this would be just right. the sketch is for the the challenge set this week on stamp something blog. the stamp is a cuddly buddly called 'kyle cooks' and the rest is from my stash.

blimey where did that week go? i have been so busy i just haven't got any crafting done and the week ahead doesn't look that great either. i have so many cards to get done though i really must find some time. the first card today is for 2 challenges, the first is for the colour create challenge and the other is friday sketchers. i enjoyed using the colour scheme and the sketch. the stamp is a sugar nellie called 'fingers crossed' the butterflies are magnolia's, everything else is from my stash. i hope you have enjoyed the sunshine this weekend x

stampavie and more challenge # 46 and colour createweek 18

hi everyone i hope you are all feeling fit and healthy. i have been examed out again and really can't wait for the 6 weeks hols and just not having to get up and get out by 7.30 will be great. there is a lot going on at school before the break so it is busy all round, makes the weeks go quicker though!!!!!! this card i have combined for 2 challenges, the first is the sketch which has been set for the stampavie and more challenge and it is very versatile and i enjoyed using it a lot, the 2nd is the challenge on colour create which is the colours of the rainbow, and i have tried to use all the colours and the song has been buzzing around in my head all day!!! i have used a sugar nellie stamp called 'postbox'. i have put a piece of blue card through my big shot in a cuttlebug embossing folder, shrunk the postage stamp sentiment and used paper and flowers from my stash of goodies. have a good week and thanks for stooping by x
