good morning to you all, i have the 2 oldest granchildren over today so i will be a busy nan, and manchester united are on later so i will be watching and cheering them on. so it looks like crafting will have to wait today!!! this card is for the challenge on sketch and stash. the stamp is one that i got last year from penny black called 'sharing christmas', the paper is a new one i got this year, and everything else is from my goodies. have a great day in whatever you are doing and i will see you back here very soon x

allsorts challenge # 15

my second card today is for the challenge on allsorts and this week it is a sketch. i have used a different colour scheme to the 'normal' christmas colours and i just love it. the stamp is from sugar nellie called ' snowflake'. the card stock is from the whitewash range and looks great when torn. the pink snowflake paper is new but i can't remember where i got it from!! the jewel breads a gems are from my stash. happy crafting and i will see you soon x

sketch saturday # 65

good morning i hope you are all feeling bright and breezy today. i am very happy this morning, i went into school yesterday for year 11 results and i am so proud of my boys that i worked really hard with, they got great results and and are going on to do what they were hoping to do. so well done to them. i will miss them, i get quite attached to them and it takes me a while to readjust. my french department also got 91% passes so we are really pleased. well back to crafting, i am making the most of my last few days off so i hope to get quite a bit done. the first card today is for the challenge on sketch saturday, and once again i am christmas carding it.the stamp is a penny black from the t for transparency set 'holly jolly'. the colours are some of my favourites. the rest of the card is made up from my stash of goodies. ta for dropping by x

friday sketchers # 66

hello peeps i am back from my hols in devon with the family and apart from the weather it was great!! i am tired though as there is not much relaxation when there are 6 kids running around. well i couldn't wait to get back to my crafting and the frist card is for the challenge set on friday sketchers. i am getting back to my christmas cards and this stamp is an old favourite, i have used my cricut to do the 'merry' everything else is from my craft stash. i hope you are all well and thanks for dropping by. happy crafting x

creative inspirations # 15 & sketch saturday # 63

another card from me this morning and this time i have combined it for two challenges. it is my daughter's birthday the day we come home from holiday so i am taking her cards and pressies with us, this is for her from jacob. the sketch is for the challenge on sketch saturday and the challenge on creative inspirations is tags. the stamp is a gorjuss girl from sugar nellie at funky kits called 'little star'. i have used 3 hat pins for the beads and stamped 3 roses for embellishments, not sure about the papers. it is finished off with a sentiment printed on the computer. happy crafting and thanks for looking in x

penny black week 61

morning, hope you are feeling on top of the world today. lots to do here but still got time to make cards!!! probably make today the last day though got to start packing and stuff tomorrow. my first card is for the penny black challenge which this week is a sketch. the stamp i have used is called 'white slopes',from the glitter pot, everything else is from my stash. i didn't realise how many papers i had left over from last year, but i have still bought more..... ta for dropping in x

friday sketchers # 64

morning peeps, finally i am able to post a card!!!! i have got so much to do, we go on our 'epic' holiday on saturday and keeping up with all my sons laundry is a major chore in itself. anyway i am winning(never a truer word said in jest!!) i am still ploughing on with my christamas cards, my friend likes more traditional stuff so i am getting as many of them done first so i can do my cutie ones later. this one is from the sketch set on friday sketchers and i really love this one. the stamp is from stamp addicts and i have used now for a few years. the ribbon looks a bit wonky but i hope it is just the way it has threaded. papers and beads all from my stash. i am going to the docs with george today, he has to have an injection as he starts 'big' school in sept. just magnolia week 17

my second posting tonight is for the challenge on just magnolia which is a sketch by martine. i have used my new tilda stamp from sir stampalot called 'tilda with bike'. i am giving this card to a really great friend who is celebrating her birthday this week in turkey (lucky girl!!) so i will make sure she gets it when she comes home. thanks for taking a peek, x happy crafting. x

truly scrumptious challenge # 13

good evening to you all, have had a lovely day today mainly crafting so am a very happy lady. as i am making 2 of all my christmas cards it is taking me longer than usual but i am getting there. this card is for the challenge on truly scrumptious which is a sketch. the stamp is a whipper snapper that i got from ally pally last year. the paper is from my last years collection, i have again shrunk the image to make an embellishment. i like this little penguin he is a cutie. almost finished another card so i will be back soon. ttfn x

i am really getting into my christmas cards at the moment, want to get a head start as i have so many to make. i am making 2 of each one so it is taking a bit longer than usual. i have combined this one for 2 challenges the first is the sketch for this weeks stampavie and more challenge and the theme on the papertake weekly challenge is 4 seasons. the stamp is a favourite of mine from stampaddicts called ' snowball snowman', i have just cut off his hat. the papers and sentiment i had last year. see you tomorrow, thanks for taking the time to look x

hi peeps i hope you are all well and have had a good day, i know you all think i am mad but i had some great news today are you ready ...wait for it.... ROBBIE WILLIAMS has a new album out in november!!!! i am so excited i can't wait this could mean a tour next year ooohhhhh i do hope so. take that this year rob next my idea of heaven (man utd winning every cup would be good too). now please don't laugh, maybe one day i will realise my age!!!!! NAH>>>> now onto crafting,i started this card last night but wasn't totally happy with it so i made some "tweeks" and feel much better about it now. the sketch is from the challenge on secret crafter. the stamp is a forever friends one from the glitter pot called 'christamas pudding'. the rest is from my stash. thanks for dropping by x

another card completed hurrah for me! again i am combining challenges, the first is for just magnolia which is distressing and i hope what i have done fits the challenge, i have ripped the paper used for layering the image and i have "shabbied" the ticket sentiment. the next is the sketch on sketch saturday set by sandra dry. the stamps are called 'jungle edwin' and 'tilda and edwin tours' from sir stampalot. i stamped edwin and then masked him out then stamped the jeep. the ticket is from a set from the hobby house. i am going to hit the sack now as i am starting to wilt. see you soon x

i have combined this card for 2 challenges the first is the sketch set on friday sketchers and the other is the theme of summer on penny black. i have used 2 stamps from the t for transparent set called 'tiny wishes' from the glitter pot, the papers are from the 'pretty please' collection by my minds eye also at the glitter pot. the buttons and butterfly are from my stash. my nesties and cuttlebug embossing folder also came in handy again. thanks for dropping by and taking time to look. x

well i have woken up to yet another wet and dreary day and it just makes me want to stay indoors and craft!!!!! going out again with kieley, george and sophie so that aint gonna happen.

i am probably going to be posting christmas cards from now until december as i have an order for 40 from my friend and i have mine to do as well so here is another i have made. the sketch is from the challenge on sketch saturday and on secret crafter there is a recipe 3 buttons, 2 design papers and 1 ribbon. i have used a penny black stamp from the glitter pot called simply

'shepherds', i have used white flocking on the sheep but you can't really see it! everything else i have had in my christmas stash. have a great day keep on crafting x

friday sketchers # 62

i have just made my first christmas card!!!!!! i do love christmas and i thought i had better make a start on my job lot!!! the sketch is for this weeks challenge on friday sketchers. i have used a sugar nellie stamp called 'christmas kisses' , the papers are from last years left overs. i stamped some holly onto shrink plastic and the image is coloured in with my h20's and sakura pens. off shopping soon with kieley, george and sophie..... see ya later xx

what a rotten day weather wise!!!! i do hope it improves a week in a caravan with 2 young children is not much fun when it rains. got til the 15th so fingers crossed.

on a bit of a roll tonight, i am pleased to have finished another card. this is for the challenge on truly scrumptious which is the sketch. i have used one of the new gorjuss girl stamps from funky kits she is called 'poppy fields', the papers are from basic grey. i have cut her out using one of my nesties.i am sorry that the image hasn't photographed well the colour of her dress is much darker. thanks for dropping by, night night x

another card bites the dust!!!! my daughter rang to ask for a card for one of george's little friends so i thought i had better get busy. the layout is for the challenge on my time to craft which this week is the sketch by becky. the apace boy is from pink gem called 'space jack'. the rocket paper was hidden at the bottom of my "green paper" box and the planet and space ship are from dimension fourth. x

sketch and stash # 15 and craft challenge # 10

a really big hello to you all. the last few weeks have really been stressful, the death of phil's dad has hit us all very badly. the funeral is on friday which will be over 2 weeks since it happened there have been some complications with the cause of death but we have the go-ahead now so after this week hopefully we can get back to some sort of normality!! i am sorry if i haven't visited your blogs, my list of followers has dissapeared but i will try to catch up with you all asap. this card is for a friend who reaches the big 60 this week and i have used the sketch set on the sketch and stash challenge the new stash is the forever friends stamp called 'champagne celebration' along with the papers, the old stash are the flowers and the h20's. this weeks challenge on the craft challenge is pink and green and i am really pleased with the result. thanks for popping in i appreciate it so much. x
