cardnumber 2 is for the challenge on cutie sunday which is the sketch. the stamp i have used is a penny black called 'candy cane perch' from the glitter pot. paper, card, lace and gems all from my goodies. ta for peeking in x
so much for having a nice half term!!!!! i have spent most of the week in bed with the flu and a chest infection, not exactly what i had planned. today is the first day i have actually felt human so i got crafting. the first card is for the challenge on sketch saturday and i really love this card. the stamp i have used is a sarah kay called 'noel peace' and i bought her at ally pally a few weeks ago. i have used white green and pink ribbons but they haven't photographed very well. everything else on the card is from my stash. i hope you are all fit and well, happy crafting x
hello bogging buddies hope you are all ok, had a rotten day today so i have cheered myself up with making cards. this one is for a friend at work who celebrates her birthday on halloween. tilda looks good in these colours and i love the paper so i am pleased with the result. the sketch is for the challenge on sketch saturday. the stamp is a magnolia called 'tilda with broom' from sir stampalot. i have used buttons and beads as embellishments. well back to the cards and wait for robbie to open the electric prom. card number 3 and i have to admit that i made this a couple of weeks ago for sophie's 2nd birthday. i am going into hospital soon so i am trying to get up to date with everything before hand. i can't believe my baby is nearly 2, mind you she is a real little spit fire and you certainly know when she is around, great character though. the card is this weeks theme on creative inspirations which is anything with a number on it. the stamp is an alota stamp called 'girl drawing' from dies to die for, the paper and flowers i have had for ages but i used my cricut to do the number 2. i had to do it in pink as it is sophie's favourite colour. i need to get cracking on another card so i will see you soon x

this card is an order and they wanted a gold and white theme and i have used the sketch on the challenge at sketch and stash. the main stamp is a magnolia called 'love cake' from sir stampalot, the sentiment is from stamp addicts which i have had for a while. the paper, card, ribbon and lace are from my stash. the newest addition are the flowers and i also used a punch to decorate the edges of the glitter and colourwash card. thanks for poppin in. x
another card and this is for the challenge on the truly scruptious challenge which is a sketch with the addition of 'autumn'. the card is for a friend at work for her son to give his nanny. the stamp is a pink gem stamp called 'autumn max'. the papers are from my goodies. see you with another post soon. x

well man utd won and i have made a card so a really good night has been had.. this card is for the challenge on just magnolia and i recieved the new magnolia stamps today from sir stampalot and i just had to use one of them!! the stamp is called 'baking tilda with wooden spoon' everything else is from my stash. i am calling it a night now and going to count some zzzzzz's. thats if phil stops snoring!!!!!!! see you soon x

hi there i hope you are having a lovely monday, we had training day at school and i have to say i was pretty bored. why do they print out a pack for you to read and then proceed to do a power point presentation on it!!!!!!! any way the afternoon was better and i was able to sort out my time table with the french dept. well this card is a bit different as i made it but my friend chose all the elements. she likes very traditional cards and as she has ordered quite a few who am i to complain. the sketch is for the challenge on sunday sketch and stamp. the stamp is from clarity stamps and the rest is from my stash. a very simple card but she loves it. i do prefer cutie ones myself. happy crafting and thanks for dropping in x
card number 2 from me tonight is for the challenge on mwatt and it is a sketch plus the theme of birthdays. as i have quite a few 'special' birthdays coming up i thought i would get started on them. this one will probably be for sophie's 2nd birthday. how time flies!!!! the stamps are sugar nellies and are called 'daisy with pram and daisy with dolly'. the paper, card and lace are all from my goodies. sophie loves pink so she should love this, it is also the first 'huge' card i have made. i hope you have had a great weekend and you all have a fab week. ally pally next week and i can't wait. take care x
hi everyone at long last i have been able to get some cards done!!! i have been babysitting nearly all week and have had to catch up on some housework too! (how boring). my first card is for the challenge on truly scrumptious which is a sketch with the addition of 3 stamps (minimum). i have used the stocking stamp, (an old favourite from stamp addicts) a swirl stamp and the holly stamp are both from the stamp man. everything else is from my stash. thanks for popping by x
this card was for the challenge on stampin for the weekend but when i have gone onto their blog they have suspended it because of a death in one of the girls family and also ill health so my thoughts go out to them all. the stamp is another sugar nellie called 'pip with presents. i have shrunk a christmas tree and cut out 3 presents as embellishments. thanks for dropping in,i probably won't be around for the next few days i am babysitting george and sophie x
well i didn't manage to get anything done yesterday but i have made up for it tonight. the first post is for the challenge set by marlene at the sugar bowl, which is the sketch plus the colour scheme of pink and brown. not a traditional colour for a christmas card i know but i think it has turned out really well. the stamp is a sugar nellie called 'honey's snowman' and the rest is from my goodies. i used a cuttlebug embossing folder for the background. sorry the picture is on the wonk but it was the only way to get the background to look the right colour,(all to do with lighting apparently!!!!) i will be back in a while with card number 2.
one of my blogging buddies jane (jem's crafting blog) is starting a new challenge blog and i just want to support her all i can. i love a challenge so i will definately be taking part. she hopes to have it up and running next month. i wish her every success and i am sure we will all have fun playing along. i will be back later with more cards (i hope!!) x
another card from me tonight and this time i have combined it for 2 challenges, the first is the sketch which is the challenge on a spoonfull of sugar and the colour scheme is the theme set on creative inspirations. i have used a combination of stamps, the witch, pumpkin, ghosts, bats and web are from penny black at the glitter pot called 'trick or treat' and the broomstick and sentement are from a set that i have had for ages. the papers are basic grey i have used a mixture of h20's and stardust pens to colour it all in. thankyou for all your kind wishes my head ache has finally gone so i am feeling much better. x
sketch saturday are asking for design team members so after a lot of humming and arhhhing i have decided to put this card forward for a chance to become a 'd t m'. i have used a mixture of papers and the stamp is a penny black called 'a wish for all time from the glitter pot. i have used a martha stewart punch for the detail at the bottom, the velvet ribbon is from my stash and i printed the sentement on my computer. i think it has turned out ok so fingers crossed. thanks for dropping in x
what a rotten day today has been i have had the headache from hell and it just won't shift, i have taken so many pain killers it is a wonder i haven't overdosed!!!! one of the girls at work asked for a card for her little boy to give his grandad for his birthday friday so i had to get it done tonight. the sketch is the challenge set on sketch saturday, the image is a joanna sheen that my friend stamped and gave to me. for the background paper i stamped 'i love my grandad' with versamark and then used clear embossing powder and heated it. the rest is from my stash. i am off to bed now see you tomorrow and thanks for dropping in x
